Thank you to everyone who reached out during my radio silence. I received some difficult family news and decided to take a social media break. I needed to quiet the noise and listen to God. It’s been good, but I miss you all, too. I so appreciated your messages and inquiries. They touched me.

Please keep my family in your prayers. And ask God to help me honor Him in whatever comes next. That is my always goal.

I’ll return when I can! Until then, keep questioning everything and keep pursuing beauty. I’ll be doing the same.

Elections are for Americans. Alive ones. Who vote legally. And the reminder is long needed.

Prayer has a power I don't think we grasp. Or continue to grasp. Maybe we get glimpses in those moments when an answer comes quickly, but the long silences cause us to once again forget.

That's me, at least.

This news about the praying coach, along with a couple weeks of seeing desperate prayers bring my loved ones peace during a personal family emergency, have reminded me of the power of prayer. It's a conversation with the Almighty. And no one can silence that. Absolutely no one.
